Many of the teams participating in Worlds 2023 have already been announced

At the moment, all the teams that will participate in the League of Legends World Championship - Worlds 2023, are known.

The main stage of the tournament will use the Swiss system and include the following teams:

  • China (LPL): Jindong Gaming (JDG), BiliBili Gaming (BLG), LNG, Weibo Gaming (WBG).
  • Korea (LCK): Gen.G, SK Telecom T1 (T1), KT Roaster, Dplus KIA (formerly Damwon KIA).
  • Europe (LEC): G2 Esports, MAD Lions, Fnatic.
  • North America (LCS): NRG, Cloud9, Team Liquid.

There will also be a Play-In stage, featuring the following teams:

  • Oceania (PCS and PCO): PSG.Talon and Flying Oyster.
  • Vietnam: GAM Esports and Team Whales.
  • Latin America: R7 Movistar.
  • Japan: Detonation FocusMe (DFM).

Regarding the team from Brazil, the participants will be announced on September 9, but it is highly likely that it will be the LOUD team.

The last slot in the tournament will be determined in a Best of 5 (BO5) series between teams from Europe and North America - Team BDS and Golden Guardians.

Worlds 2023 will take place from October 10 to November 19 in South Korea. The prize pool remains unknown at this time.
