One of the most talked about teams of the new year in Europe is Fnatic, which makes sense. The renowned club brought back legendary gunner Rekkles before the start of LEC 2023, and it can't go unnoticed.

Fnatic's poor showing in the first split of the year, LEC Winter 2023, was not overlooked either. The club barely managed to pick up 2 cards in the winter draw, which in no way fit with the team's performance.

A breakthrough team showing a grin within the Worlds 2022, ignominiously failed in the local league. Such a performance provoked a mid-year substitution: Wunder was benched, while rhuckz, a Portuguese who had come on board with Rekkles, left the bench.

These pinpoint changes helped Fnatic improve their performance. The top European club qualified for the LEC Spring 2023 group stage, finishing the regular season 4-5 in 6th place in the table.
