LEC Spring 2023
LEC Spring 2023 is the second tournament of the 13th competitive season in the European division. LEC Spring 2023 will be the second competitive League of Legends split of the year.
As before, 10 teams will play in Europe for the title of best team for the Spring season and they will try to find out who is the best club during the month, first in the regular season and afterwards in the play-offs. The venue for the LEC Spring 2023 tournament will be the Riot headquarters in Berlin, aka LEC Studio.
There will not only be the European title of the strongest team in Europe, but also quite tangible prizes such as cash and slots to other League of Legends tournaments. The LEC Spring 2023 prize money will amount to 80,000 euros and the best team will advance to the MSI 2023 as well as the LEC Finals at the end of the season.

LEC Spring 2023 highlights
LEC Spring 2023 (full name LoL EMEA Championship Spring 2023) is the 10th tournament under the LEC umbrella. The European battles will start on the 11th March, with the final on the 17th April.
The venue for LEC Spring 2023 will be Riot Games Berlin, better known as LEC Studio. It is there that all regular season LOL matches will be played, as well as the playoffs.
At the beginning of the year, Riot slightly changed the LEC structure, adding a few outside leagues to the European division, but some things haven't changed. For example, the number of LEC Spring 2023 participants remains the same at 10.

All competitors retained their places after participating in the LEC Winter 2023, as it works at the LEC. In the battle, these teams will draw €80,000 and a place at the LEC Finals 2023. Another reward will be a trip to the Mid-Season Invitational 2023.
The LEC Spring 2023 champion will win €40,000 and the aforementioned trip to the Global Finals, a place in the MSI 2023 play-offs as well as 120 Championship Points. The 2nd ranked team wins the €25,000 and 100 points, the 3rd ranked team wins €10,000 and 80 points and the last four teams win €5,000 and 60 points.
The 6th to 10th placed teams will be awarded 50 to 5 points and they will also retain their places at LEC Summer 2023.
Format of the LEC Spring 2023
The LEC Spring 2023 tournament will be played in three rounds. First, 10 teams will play in the group stage (regular season), followed by the group stage, and the LEC Spring 2023 playoffs will close out the spring split.
The regular season will last for 3 weeks. 10 teams will play in Single Round Robin with bo1 matches. Eight teams qualify for the group stage.
The group stage will last a few weeks. The 8 teams are divided into 2 groups and will play in a GSL format. The top 2 teams from each quartet qualify for the playoffs.
The play-offs will be played in a Page-Mclnyte (Double-Elimination) format from the second round. All matches will be played in a bo5 format.
