The highly competitive League of Legends has returned to South Korea. LCK Spring 2023 regular season matches have started in Seoul.

10 teams in the local league started the battle for $302,000, but more importantly, for two tickets to the Mid-Season Invitational 2023. LCK Spring 2023 matches will be played for two months, and the first games started today.

Results of the first gaming day of LCK Spring 2023: loss to DRX , new Deft super team and non-replaceable Faker

In the opening match of LCK Spring 2023, Dplus played, formerly known as DAMWON Kia, and DRX, the 2022 world champion club. Significant changes took place in Dplus during the off-season: the team was replenished by the champion of the past Worlds Deft, whose company was Canna, Canyon, ShowMaker and Kelin.

Major changes have also taken place in DRX: two-time world champion BeryL remained from the champion roster, and Rascal, Juhan, Croco, FATE and Deokdam came to him. The club literally did not pull the appetites of the championship team and gave way to the young, for which they paid already in the first series.

DPLUS outplayed the champion team on two maps. The first game featured a pairing of Lucian and Nami, which is popular with both professional players and ranked games, and the second featured Yumi, who will soon receive the expected community nerf.

The second game marked the famous derby. Gen.G played their opening match, the winners of LCK Summer 2022 and T1 , the TOP-2 team in the world at the end of the 12th season.

Faker and company managed to break Gen.G, but not without problems. Both cards took 30+ minutes.
