DRX announces collaboration with Afreeca TV

South Korean esports organization DRX, known for its League of Legends roster. introduced a new partner on social networks. They became the streaming service Afreeca TV.

Afreeca TV is one of the oldest streaming services in the world. The platform was launched on March 9, 2006 in South Korea. Since 2011, the company has been owned by AfreecaTV Co. The service is based on P2P technology. The target markets are Asian countries, but the English version of the site is available to users from all over the world.

DRX LoL roster players will start streaming on the Afreeca TV platform from August 12 this year. The team finished the group stage of the spring split in 4th place, and at the LCK 2022 Spring Playoffs, the club finished in 5th place. At the moment, DRX are participating in LCK 2022 Summer, where they have 2 matches left to play. With the announcement of the last week of the summer split, you can read the relevant news.

Recall that LCK 2022 Summer runs from June 15 to August 14 this year. 10 teams from South Korea are fighting for slots in the LCK 2022 Summer Playoffs, the winner of which will go directly to the LoL World Championship, Worlds 2022.
