LCK Summer 2022: Gen.G Esports win fifth in a row
Ihor MatusThe next gaming day of LCK Summer 2022 is over. Within its framework, two confrontations took place with the participation of Hanwha Life Esports, Brion Esports, Nongshim RedForce and Gen.G Esports.
Hanwha Life Esports vs Brion Esports
On the first map, Hanwha Life Esports showed a good initiative and made the first kill, after which Brion Esports made a return initiation and demolished the first tower. A big contributor to this game was Morgan, who played on Gankplank. He finished the game with a 3-0-8 record. As a result, the first map ended with a victory for Brion Esports in 41 minutes with a score of 13-5 in favor of the winners. For Brion Esports, this map was the first in the tournament, which ended in victory for Sw0rd and his teammates.
On the second map, Hanwha Life Esports slightly changed their approach to the game and chose other characters. Now on the top lane was not Ormn, but Gankplank, who was on the first map of Brion Esports. This greatly helped the players from Hanwha Life, which allowed them to finish the game in the 34th minute with a score of 17-8. By the way, the first kill went to the winners of the map, but the first tower was broken by Fredit Brion, but this did not help them.
The third map was the fastest in the series. By this moment, Hanwha Life Esports had already played out and were ready to win. This time, just like on the second map, the SamD team's carry took Jynx, on which he made the greatest contribution to the team's victory. The team first made the first kill, then demolished the first tower, and after that they won, not even reaching 30 minutes. The meeting ended with a score of 9-3.

Nongshim RedForce vs Gen.G Esports
The confrontation between Gen.G Esports and Nongshim RedForce was not as interesting as the previous match. In the battle between Brion and Hanwha Life, at least intrigue was created, but in the case of Gen.G Esports, there was none. Representatives of Gen.G just rolled their opponents, leaving them no chance to win. The team started its victorious march on the first map rather quickly. Ruler on Lucian had the most kills, finishing the map 5-1-5 and leading the team to success. The first kill went to the Gen.G Esports piggy bank just like the first demolished tower. The map ended in 34 minutes with a score of 12-4 in favor of Gen.G.
Moving on to the second map, Gen.G managed to cope with their task even faster, but this time the focus shifted from the top lane player and carries to the general team game, in which for the most part the mid-laner of the team also took part and could not do without a support. The latter made 11 assists with 13 kills made by the team. Nongshim RedForce, by the way, tried to take matters into their own hands and by the 9th minute they already had an advantage, though small, but still. They even managed to get the first kill, but from 12 minutes onwards, Gen.G Esports oversaw the game the way they wanted and won.
