The leadership of the esports organization SK Gaming reported on their Twitter account about the trouble that happened to the League of Legends team. Top laner Janick 'JNX' Bartels has tested positive for COVID-19 on the starting roster for the LEC Summer 2022. Because of this, he should be isolated from his teammates. Thus, the entire line-up will take part in LEC Summer 2022 not at the LEC studio, but at the SK headquarters, which is located in Berlin. JNX, in turn, in order to avoid the spread of infection, will play in a team from his home. The rest of the employees of the eSports club will be monitored in terms of health so that the situation does not worsen. According to SK Gaming, JNX is already feeling better and on the mend, and according to presumable expectations, the team will play in such a non-standard format only in this week's matches.

At the moment, SK Gaming are not very successful at LEC Summer 2022. They won one victory and suffered two defeats. This placed them at number seven along with Rogue.
