G2 Esports are the undisputed leaders of the LEC Summer 2022 group stage
The first gaming week within the LoL European Championship 2022 has come to an end. According to its results, G2 Esports became the leaders with 3-0 statistics. In the first week, they beat opponents such as Astralis, Excel Esports and Rogue. The second line in the standings is now shared by five participants at once: Astralis, Excel Esports, Fnatic, MAD Lions and Team Vitality. They all have two wins and one loss. The seventh place is shared by Rogue and SK Gaming, who earned one victory each and received two losses. The last places are occupied by Misfits Gaming and Team BDS.

LEC Summer 2022 started on June 17th. The total prize pool of the European League of Legends tournament is €200,000. It is distributed by 10 league members: Astralis, Excel Esports, Fnatic, G2 Esports, MAD Lions, Misfits Gaming, Rogue, SK Gaming, Team BDS and Team Vitality. The winner, runner-up and bronze medalist will receive €80,000, €50,000 and €30,000 respectively, along with invitations to the 2022 World Championship. The teams that will take 4-6 positions will earn €20,000, €12,500 and €7,500. The rest of the league will be left with nothing.
