LCK Summer 2022, the next major League of Legends championship for South Korean teams, will start very soon. As part of the championship, which will last until August 28 in Seoul at LoL PARK, ten local teams will compete for a prize pool of $296,817, as well as a ticket to the 2022 World Championship. We offer you to get acquainted with the format of the event, the participants and lineups, as well as the distribution of the prize fund of the championship.

Format of LCK Summer 2022

The championship will be held in two stages:

  • group stage.
  • Playoffs.

As part of the LCK Summer 2022 group stage, participants will be offered a double round robin format, during which each team will play 18 matches in the BO3 format.

The six strongest teams of the group stage will make it to the playoffs, as well as the four remaining teams will leave the championship. At the same time, the best team of the group stage can choose their opponent in the first round of the playoffs.

  • 1st place: $158,303 + 2022 World Championship slot
  • 2nd place: $79,151 + 100 points.
  • 3rd place: $39,576 + 80 points.
  • 4th place: $19,788 + 50 points.
  • 5th place: 30 points.
  • 6th place: 10 points.
  • 7th place: TBD.
