DAMWON Gaming Challengers became the champion of LCK Challengers League 2022 Spring
4998The LCK Challengers League 2022 Spring has come to an end. At the championship, which was held online from January 10 to April 1, ten South Korean teams competed for a prize pool of $65,826. The winner of the tournament was the DAMWON Gaming Challengers team, which in the grand final was stronger than NS RedForce Challengers with a score of 3:1.
The tournament for the future winner started with a confident performance in the group stage, during which DAMWON Gaming Challengers got 22 wins and also lost 14 matches.
Thanks to a successful performance, the team took second place and made it to the playoffs of the LCK Challengers League 2022 Spring, where they already beat KT Rolster Challengers (3:2) in the semifinals. In the final match of the championship, DAMWON Gaming Challengers once again outperformed NS RedForce Challengers (3:1), thus earning $28,799.
Note that the MVP of the regular season was recognized by Jun. Thanatos became the best player in the grand final of the competition. Expession was recognized as the best coach of the championship.
