Match Prediction: Beastcoast - Mad Kings | Dota 2
Welcome back to EGamersWorld.
We continue to ply the waters in DPC 2023, where we have put together a betting tip for Beastcoast - MAD Kings in the third round.
The game promises to be a boring one, because the level of play of the teams differs greatly. However, never say "goop" until you have jumped over it.
It is important for Beastcoast to pick up points as they head into the third round of DPC 2023. The team, who have won their league twice before, have a good chance of a direct ticket to The International 2023 if they succeed again.
The bc are feeling pretty good before Long Cogneaga, but it's important not to lose the thread and build on their success in a seemingly quite passable match.
Let's see if Beastcoast will manage to earn points in a comfortable match and get one step closer to going to Bali for the IO Bali Major 2023 or if MAD Kings will suddenly compete with the top South Americans.
Let's go.
Beastcoast uniforms
Let's open up the Beastcoast v Mad Kings with an analysis of the Beastcoast formation. The South American giants will play this matchup as favourites by a huge margin.
Bookmakers put the odds on Beastcoast to win at 1.08. There really isn't a chance for the Mad Kings to win, even by a single card.
But we can easily believe it. After all, the Mad Kings are playing against the top team in South America. And that's not even on the level of personal feeling.
The Beastcoast is, quite logically, the strongest team in South America, having won the local league twice. And they have won with ease.
In the first season of DPC 2023: South America Division 1 the Beastcoast never lost a series. They also clinched the result in the second season, again without giving up a single series and took the championship.
Things are much worse on the international stage. The best result remains top 6 at DreamLeague S19, a tournament that is not in the DPC ecosystem. With Major events it is even worse: The Lima Major 2023 is TOP-12, ESL One Berlin Major 2023 is TOP-14.
- Beastcoast line-up: K1, DarkMago, Sacred, Scofield, Stinger.
All season played in a stable lineup, and there is nothing to change. All pretty good, if you don't take into account the international scene, of course.
Prior to Long Cogneaga, the Beastcoats are at the top of the standings. They have three wins: Infinity, Infamous, Hokori. The latter have managed to wrest the map from Beastcoast.
The most popular Beastcoast heroes
Among Beastcoast's most chosen heroes are Tusk and Snapfire. Both have appeared in the Peruvian club six times with Tusk enjoying a 66% win rate and Snapfire a 33% win rate.
Also taking Enchantress (5 matches, 60% wins) and Tiny (5 matches, 40% wins). Also in spades are Terrorblade (4 matches, 100% wins), Pangolier (4 matches, 75% wins), and Batrider (4 matches, 50% win rate).
To be fair, no The International rigs in this match. Beastcoast should crush their opponents even if they play "one handed".
Mad Kings form
Mad Kings will face Mad Kings on their way to a fourth win. Will be as an underdog, obviously.
The odds of winning are disappointing to say the least. The odds on that from the bookies are somewhere in the region of 7.
To be fair, such a figure is still a compliment to Mad Kings. A team of their calibre against beastcoast has about zero chance, but let's not write off the regional DPC factor, where surprising things happen at times. They're unlikely to happen against Mad Kings, but what the hell.
The team is kind of capable of resisting. How else would they take Division Two? There, by the way, MAD Kings haven't lost a single series, which is pretty good for a TIR-2 team.
- Mad Kings line-up: DaaD, PiPi, ArzenT, Genek, RedMonster .
Mad Kings are doing pretty well so far. Considering that the team is new to the league, the score 1-2 is pretty decent.
The team beat Infinity 2-1. They lost to Infamous and Thunder Awaken, with no cards taken.
Most popular MAD Kings heroes
Ember Spirit (12 games, 66% win percentage) remains the most popular MAD Kings hero. Next is Monkey King (7 games, 28% win rate).
Another picks are Doom (6 matches, 66% wins), Crystal Maiden (6 matches, 50% wins), Keeper of the Light (5 matches, 60% wins).
Also picking Alchemist (5 matches, 40% wins), Bloodseeker (4 matches, 75% wins).
It seems that the only option to take maps is Beastcoast's complete indifference to the game. I find that hard to believe.
Beastcoast - Mad Kings head-to-head history
The teams have not previously played each other in official matches. This match is the first experience of official matches.
Result of the match
This match is a foregone conclusion before it even begins. I'll be very surprised if Mad Kings manage to take the card.
The Beastcoasts must and will pick up points as they want to qualify for The International 2023 directly. Granted they will play unassembled, but even so they won't give Mad Kings and maps.
Bottom line: a 2-0 Beastcoast victory.

Beastcoast is the 16th team in the world rankings. The organisation has no problems at all with DPC. The first two rounds in South America have been ranked 1st, adding more and more points to their piggy bank. But in big tournaments they have a bit of a problem. The Lima Major was a complete failure. The team managed to take only 9th-12th place. In comparison, the DreamLeague was slightly better. They occupied a deserved 6th place. Unfortunately, at the Berlin Major they had nothing to show and finished the tournament in the 13th-14th place.
Mad Kings is the 46th ranked team in the world. A team that improved their level of play. In the first round of DPC tournament guys played in the 2nd division and finished it only in the 4th place. But they finished the 2nd round in 1st place and worked their way up to 1st Division.
Bc as usual beat all the teams on their way inside the region. While not counting EG I think Thunder Awaken can compete with them. But unlikely to be able to compete MK. They have already lost 2 out of 3 matches, and haven't even met bc and EG yet. If they keep going like this, they might get relegated to 2nd division.
I'm a prognosticator, that's all I live for. I spend all my time on it. No other interests.
I have been doing this for a long time and I have had some success. Believe it or not, it's up to everyone. But why not give it a try? Maybe you will like this life too!
