Match Prediction: T1 - Xtreme Gaming | Dota 2
The International 2022: Last Chance QualifierWe are still at the Last Chance Qualifier ahead of The International 2022. The first game day is behind us and now we will be watching what is happening on October 9th.
The fourth lineup will be opened by a duel between Xtreme and T1. A loud sign should wake up DotA fans even at 4:00 in the morning.
Both teams are from among the “big fish” and are clearly aiming for the top four of the group, and then for the top of the playoffs. As for the LCQ playoffs, they are aiming at the TI group stage at least, but there is a suspicion that at least one of these teams will not make it there.
Let's figure out who is more likely to succeed and who will be able to earn important points in the first match of the second gaming day at the Last Chance Qualifier.
Xtreme Gaming Uniform
Let's start the analysis of the match with Xtreme Gaming, which, logically, should approach the match as a favorite. However, the situation in the tournament can change very quickly.
In determining the favorite here, the success of the teams in previous matches will play a key role. Behind Xtreme will be games with VP, Infamous, Liquid and WildCard Gaming.
Looking ahead, I do not see how the Chinese lose at least one of the matches dry. Assuming that VP and Liquid will be able to overcome the map, although the possibility of this in the case of Liquid seems to be a dubious event, but still.
If we hypothetically give Xtreme a 6-2 score after the first day, they are already guaranteed a place in the top bracket of the playoffs. Will the Chinese play at full strength in subsequent matches? My answer is yes.
Remembering the past Arlington, we find confirmation of the words above. Chinese clubs can relax at the beginning, but they almost always play to the end.
In the case of Xtreme, this seems even more likely, because the club desperately needs game practice, which they received only within the home league.

- old eLeVeN
- Pyw
- Dy
There is nothing new to say here. We just monitor the level of play of famous performers on the first game day and monitor whether they will catch the “star”
Xtreme Gaming Heroes
Xtreme's most picked heroes are: Earth Spirit (6 matches, 50% win rate), Death Prophet (4 matches, 100% win rate), Lina (4 matches, 75% win rate), Omniknight (4 matches, 75% win rate), Marci and Shadow Fiend (4 matches each and 50% win rate).
Form T1
T1 will most likely be in the status of an outsider. We are waiting for the exact odds closer to the start of the match.
Here you can draw an analogy with Xtreme. T1 will have matches with the same teams behind them.
If I doubt that Xtreme will give the map to conditional Liquid, then I don’t have a dilemma regarding T1: a club from Southeast Asia can flood both Infamous and Liquid, while VP can lose outright.
Again, while these guesses are formed only on the basis of the performance of the club during the season and no more. Naturally, in reality, we can get inspired T1s that will crush everyone in their path, but there are no adequate reasons for such a scenario before the start of Last Chance Qualifiers.
Again, I can remember the T1 game in the qualifiers for Southeast Asia. There wards March, frankly speaking, failed.
Composition T1
- Ana
- Topson
- kuku
- whitemon
- Xepher
Failed here in this composition. And not somewhere here, in the company of the strongest teams of competitive dota, but in a rather mediocre qualification from Southeast Asia in terms of the level of performance.
Heroes T1
T1 often play with Morph (5 matches, 80% win rate), Marci (4 matches, 50% win rate), Undying (3 matches, 66% win rate), Clockwerk (2 matches, 100% win rate).
History of personal confrontations
Prior to this, the teams did not play face-to-face confrontations. This match will be the first face-to-face debut of the teams.
Match result T1 - Xtreme
Before the start of the fight, I support Xtreme with both hands. The team looked better both during the season and at the qualifiers for The International.
The composition of the team was going in advance, and not a week before the qualifier. They took not just “top” representatives there, but serious players with a reserve for the future and motivation to play.
Obviously, after the launch of LCQ, all the above arguments can break into reality, because LAN always brings its own meta and anything can happen there. But for now, let's start from the facts and choose Xtreme as the winner.
Outcome: victory for Xtreme.
Xtreme Gaming is the 22nd team in the world ranking. We had a good time at the Chinese qualifiers, taking 2nd place in them, losing out only with Royal Never Give Up. In the first matches, they easily defeated Invictus Gaming and CDEC Gaming 2:0, but then they met RNG, from whom they fell into the lower bracket. In the match for reaching the finals of the qualifiers, Vici Gaming won 2:0, but in the final they again failed to surprise RNG, 0:3. They show a good game in the last chance qualifiers. I reviewed almost every map. In the first match, a tight fight ensued with Team Liquid, which ended in a draw. Then Wildcard Gaming 2:0 were trampled. And in the final match at the moment, we drew with Virtus.Pro, although in my opinion we played much better and lost the 2nd map only because we picked a little worse. The brightest contender for me to go to TI.
T1 is the 27th team in the world ranking. We took 3rd place in the qualifiers, losing to Polaris and Talon Esports. The first 2 matches in the last chance qualifiers were not the most successful. First, we lost without a chance to Team Liquid 0:2, then managed to draw with INF.UESPORTS, but this cannot be called a good result if the team wants to get to TI. One gets the impression that only Topson plays in the team.
After seeing the games from T1, I can’t believe in their success. The team has shown itself very poorly. And I don’t see a chance against the charged Chinese. XG are good.
I am a gambling gambler, I live only by this. I devote all my time to this. There are no more interests.
Just started activity. Believe me or not - everyone's business, but it is important to take into account the many opinions! Why not try? Maybe you like this life too!
XG win!
