Mineski has become the sixth invited team that had already shown itself well on the world Dota 2 scene, having 720 Dota Pro Circuit Points.
Previously, such teams as Virtus.Pro, Team Secret, Team Liquid, NewBee and Evil Geniuses received invites.

A prize pool of the tournament will amount $1,000,000 and 1,500 DPC points. The championship will be hosted at Spodek Arena on February 20-25. The number of participants will reach 16 teams. 10 of them will receive direct invitations, while the rest of teams will pass regional qualifiers in six divisions.
