ESL One Germany 2020: the first participants of the playoff stage have been determined
Based on the results of the past matches within the group stage, two participants were determined, who went to the playoffs, and also two teams were determined, which completed their journey in the Dota 2 championship.
Team Secret and Alliance were the first teams to win three group stage victories. Secret defeated Tempo Esports, Yellow Submarine and Team Liquid. All meetings were completed 2-0. Alliance, in turn, beat EXTREMUM with a result of 2-0, and also turned out to be triumphant in fights with NiP and OG, losing to both of them on one map.
EXTREMUM and Tempo Esports, in turn, failed to win a single match and, having suffered 3 defeats, completed their path in the tournament. EXTREMUM lost in matches with Alliance, 5men and Cyber Legacy. Tempo Esports, in their turn, could not beat Team Secret, Team Nigma and HellRaisers. Both teams were able to take one map only in the last matches.
There will be six matches tomorrow: three top and three bottom. Based on the results of the top matches, the next three playoff participants will be determined, and the bottom three will determine the top three teams that will complete their journey to ESL One Germany 2020.
NiP, HellRaisers, Nigma, Winstrike, OG and Yellow Submarine will fight in the upper matches, and Cyber Legacy, Vikin.gg, Natus Vincere, mudgolems, 5men and Team Liquid in the lower matches.
