NAVI unexpectedly defeat Team Falcons in Round 4 of the BLAST Slam VI Group Stage. Following the first match day, Natus Vincere move to a 3-1 record.

Hero Draft

  • Team Falcons: Chen, Dragon Knight, Pangolier, Timbersaw, Hoodwink.
  • Natus Vincere: Batrider, Templar Assassin, Bristleback, Shadow Demon, Disruptor.

The match began quietly without many major moments from either team. Closer to the mid-game, upon obtaining necessary items, the teams became more active and engaged in several fights; however, the situation on the map remained even.

The key moment of the map occurred at the 31st minute when Team Falcons unsuccessfully initiated a team fight. NAVI read the opponent's strategy, won the fight, and took Roshan. From that point on, NAVI began building an advantage and ultimately defeated their opponent with a score of 23-21. The match lasted 48 minutes.

It is worth noting the non-standard mid-hero pick from NAVI, Niku played Bristleback and was quite successful. gotthejuice also stood out with a high-quality performance, playing Templar Assassin on this map with a score of 6/0/10.
