Team Spirit Eliminated from The International 2025 After Losing 0:2 to Falcons
Team Spirit has ended their run at The International 2025, falling to Team Falcons 0:2 in the playoff qualification match. This result placed Spirit in 9th–13th position in the tournament.
The first map of the series lasted 76 minutes, with Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk delivering an impressive performance, earning 1,177 gold per minute and attempting a backdoor to break the enemy’s throne. Despite his efforts, Falcons secured the victory.
On the second map, Falcons dominated from the start, steadily increasing their advantage throughout the game. Team Spirit was unable to respond, and even the Collapse factor on Magnus had no impact on turning the game in Spirit’s favor.
Earlier in the group stage, Spirit suffered defeats against Xtreme, PARIVISION, and Aurora, which pushed the team into the elimination zone. Team Falcons, on the other hand, performed strongly, finishing the group stage with a 3–2 record and delivering some of the tournament’s most impressive games.
As a result, Team Spirit leaves the tournament with approximately $44,600 in prize money from TI14, while Falcons advance to the playoffs, where they will face one of the strongest teams in the event.

The International 2025 is the main tournament in the Dota 2 discipline, organized by Valve. The initial prize pool of The International amounts to $1,600,000, with the remaining funds being raised through in-game transactions. As of this match, the TI 2025 prize pool stands at approximately $2.45 million.
