NAVI defeat HEROIC 2:0 in the second round of the group stage at The International 2025

On September 4, the biggest tournament of the year in Dota 2 — The International 2025 — kicked off, traditionally bringing together the strongest teams in the world. Already in the second round of the group stage, the Ukrainian organization NAVI delivered real intrigue for their fans: in a tense and emotional battle, they secured a victory over HEROIC with a 2:0 score, reinforcing a confident start to their championship journey.

The first map began with aggression from HEROIC, as Yuma secured the first kill just two minutes into the match. Despite NAVI falling behind in net worth, they managed to win several key fights thanks to Mars’ Arena and seized the initiative. This victory improves NAVI’s position, giving them a 1-1 record in the group stage, while HEROIC remain at 0-2, making their path to recovery even more difficult. The International 2025 is the most prestigious Dota 2 tournament, organized by Valve. The base prize pool of The International is $1,600,000, with the rest of the funds raised through in-game transactions.
