DreamLeague Season 26: How NAVI Junior Performed on Day One
From January 19 to June 1, 2025, one of the largest online tournaments of the season — DreamLeague Season 26 — is taking place. The event features 16 teams competing for the championship title and a $1 million prize pool. Among the participants are NAVI Junior, who, while not considered favorites, are determined to deliver a strong performance to please their fans. In this article, we’ll look at how NAVI Junior fared on the first day of the DreamLeague S26 Group Stage 1.
Yakult Brothers vs. NAVI Junior

NAVI Junior’s first match was against Yakult Brothers. The Chinese team is also not among the top favorites but can’t be underestimated. All matches in Group Stage 1 are played in a best-of-two (bo2) format, allowing for possible draws — which is exactly what happened here. NAVI Junior won the first map in 29 minutes with a score of 17-6, while Yakult Brothers claimed the second map in 25 minutes with a score of 22-8.
Both maps were quite dynamic overall, with little downtime spent farming in the jungle. Instead, viewers were treated to numerous combo attacks and tactical plays from both teams.
NAVI Junior vs. AVULUS

NAVI Junior’s second match in the DL S26 Group Stage 1 was against AVULUS — a team known for their surprising upsets against stronger opponents. Underestimating them would be a mistake. NAVI approached this matchup with full focus, and although AVULUS put up a solid fight, the Ukrainian squad emerged stronger with a 2-0 victory.
- Win on the first map after an intense battle, finishing 25-24 in 51 minutes.
- Win on the second map with a dominant 30-12 score in 38 minutes.
With this result, NAVI Junior secured their first series win at DreamLeague Season 26. After the first day of Group Stage 1, their overall score stands at 3-1, which puts them in a tie for first place in their group at this stage of the event.
