All playoff participants of DreamLeague Season 25 have been determined
From February 16, 2025, to March 2, 2025, one of the biggest Dota 2 tournaments of the first part of the season, DreamLeague Season 25, is taking place. The tournament features 16 teams from various regions competing for the championship title and a $1 million prize pool. As of February 27, 2025, Group Stage 2 has concluded, and it is now clear which teams are eliminated and which will continue their fight in the playoffs—something we will cover in this article.
Teams that were unexpectedly eliminated during Group Stage 2

Eight teams participated in Group Stage 2, with four advancing to the playoffs and four being eliminated. It is worth noting that there were no weak teams in this stage, but there were clear favorites—some of whom failed to deliver their best performance.
One such team was Team Liquid, which displayed rather inconsistent gameplay throughout the tournament. In Group Stage 2, they managed to secure only one victory against Tundra Esports, while losing six matches. Their overall game record stood at 4-12, resulting in their elimination from DreamLeague Season 25, finishing in 7 place at this stage.
Another disappointing team was Team Falcons. Coming into DreamLeague S25 as one of the tournament favorites, they had a strong performance in Group Stage 1. However, in Group Stage 2, they failed to maintain their level of play. Despite securing three wins, they suffered four losses and finished in 5th place, which was not enough to advance to the playoffs.
