The event features 16 teams competing across multiple stages for a $1 million prize pool. Group Stage 2 runs from February 21 to February 27, 2025, and will determine the playoff participants, making every match crucial. Unexpected Favorites
As of February 25, 2025, four out of seven rounds of DreamLeague Season 25 - Group Stage 2 have been played. Some favorites and underdogs have already emerged, with a few surprises along the way.
Currently leading the standings is Chimera Esports, boasting an impressive 4-0 record with a game score of 8-3. Chimera Esports has been the biggest revelation of DreamLeague Season 25. After finishing second in Group Stage 1, they have continued their dominance by defeating some of the tournament’s strongest teams. Their victories include 2-1 wins over Team Spirit, BB Team, and HEROIC, as well as a convincing 2-0 sweep against Team Liquid. If they secure just one more win, their spot in the playoffs is guaranteed.
Another unexpected top performer is PARIVISION, currently sitting in second place with a 4-0 record and an 8-1 game score. Despite a mixed performance in Group Stage 1, PARIVISION has been on fire in Group Stage 2, crushing every opponent in their path. They secured a 2-1 victory over Tundra Esports and swept Team Falcons, HEROIC, and Team Liquid 2-0. One more win will secure their spot in the playoffs.
