Disappointing Performances at The International: Malaysia Team SMG, Ukraine's No[o]ne, and Bulgaria's MinD_ContRoL

Members of the Asian team Malaysia, specifically Malaysia Team SMG, Ukraine's Vladimir "None" Minenko, and Bulgaria's Ivan Borislavov "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov, experienced their least successful campaigns at The International. In the case of Team SMG, they faced elimination at TI12, failing to secure a single series win during the tournament's group stage.

In previous editions of The International, the Ukrainian esports player had twice achieved top-6 finishes, notably in 2017 and 2018. The Bulgarian player boasts a tournament victory in 2017, top-4 placements in 2018, and a silver medal in 2019.
