PGL has published the format, groups and schedule for The International 2022: Last Chance Qualifier

The organizers of The International 2022 - Last Chance have published the format, groups and schedule of qualifiers.

PGL will host The International 2022: Last Chance Qualifier from October 8-12 in Singapore. In less than 3 weeks, the battle for the last two places in the group stage of The International 2022 will begin. 12 teams, divided into 2 groups, will fight for 5 days until the final list of participants in The International 11 is formed.

Group A

  • Team Secret
  • Vici Gaming
  • Polari Esports
  • Natus Vincere
  • nouns
  • Tempest

Group B

  • Team Liquid
  • Xtreme Gaming
  • T1
  • Virtus.Pro
  • Wildcard Gaming
  • Infamous

Format

The group stage will be held in the best of 2 format in a round robin format. The top 4 teams from each group advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs. The bottom two teams from each group will advance to the lower bracket of the playoffs.

Playoff format

Double Elimination Bracket without Grand Final. All matches will be played in the best of 3 format. The winners of the Winner Bracket Final and the Lower Bracket Final will advance to The International 2022 group stage.

English broadcasts

During the group stage (October 8, 9), 4 games will be played simultaneously on 4 different streams:

Stream A ; Stream B ; Stream C ; Stream D
