Iceiceice and poloson join Team SMG
Maksym ShylovMalaysian esports organization Team SMG has announced changes to the Dota 2 roster. The team added two Singaporean players, Daryl 'iceiceice' Koh and Wilson 'poloson' Koh.
The last team for iceiceice was Team Secret. The player joined the team last November and played for Secret until early August. Then he was replaced by Resolut1on to participate in Riyadh Masters 2022. Of the achievements during iceiceice's tenure with Team Secret, it is worth noting 3rd place at OGA Dota PIT Season 5: Europe/CIS and 5th place at DPC WEU 2021/2022 Tour 1: Division I, as well as Tour 2 and Tour 3. Puppey and the team have missed all Majors this season and will be forced to play the regional qualifier for The International 2022.
Prior to that, poloson played for the Chinese club Ybb gaming. He helped them compete in DPC CN 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division II. Ybb Gaming stopped at the 7th line of the standings and flew out of the rating season.
Team SMG say the goal of this roster is to qualify for The International 2022. The first test for the team will be the upcoming GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Thailand 2022.

Recall that GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Thailand 2022 will be held from August 18 to 20 this year in a LAN format. The venue will be Central Hatyai, Hai Yai, Thailand. 8 invited teams will compete for a prize pool of $150,000.
