Biography MidOne
Yeik «MidOne» Nai Zheng is one of the most high-level and experienced gamers in the competitive Dota 2. Since he started his career, MidOne has been playing for tier-1 teams demonstrating understanding of the game and high level of mastery on different gaming positions. We offer you to take a look at the way MidOne became a professional esportsman.
Beginning of Career
Like many professional esportsmen, MidOne started his way in the industry a long time before he joined the first organization. When he was a child, the player visited computer clubs where he demonstrated a high level of the game. In April 2016, he became the first gamer who turned over 8,000 ММР at the South Asian server.
The first official club for MidOne was Fnatic. The Malaysian joined the team in December 2015. Right after he got into Fnatic, he started to show good results. The peak of the performance in the organization was the fourth place at The International 2016. After that he was noticed by the European organization Team Secret. Consequently, MidOne was a representative of this club.
Team Secret
MidOne joined Team Secret in August 2016 after The International 6. During his first months there, the team demonstrated mediocre results but later they turned into a real Tier-1 team.
The first big result for Team Secret was the second place at ESL One Hamburg 2017. After that, there were two championships at DreamLeague Season 8 and DreamLeague Season 9. The team was approaching The International 2018 as a favourite. Nevertheless, at TI the team was not able to show their maximum and took the 5-6 place. But it did not break Team Secret down and in October 2018 they became the champions at ESL One Hamburg 2018. After that, the gamers gained second place at The Kuala Lumpur Major in November 2018.
In January 2019, MidOne’s team won The Chongqing Major and later MDL Disneyland Paris Major in May 2019. The International 2019 was expecting the team as one of the main challengers. At TI9, MidOne and his team made it to the semifinal of the lower bracket but could not beat their eternal rivals from Liquid. The team took the fourth position. The performance at TI9 was the last significant result for MidOne in Secret. Having played for the team for three years, MidOne left it. The next team for the Malaysian gamer was OG’s star roster.
OG and Individual Awards
