Team Spirit signed a second analyst
Ihor MatusMark 'Sikle' Lerman, known for his Chen play and his activities in Dota 2 as a former tester, became Team Spirit 's second analyst, as the latter announced on their social networks.
Sikle will be assisting Head Coach Vitaliy 'Sword_Art' Petkin with the process of preparing players for upcoming matches and shaping the right training approach.
Mark Lerman is known for playing Chen a lot and he likes to come up with interesting ways to win using this character. Last year on Dotabuff, Opendota and Statz, Sikle was at the top of the list of players who performed best on Chen. Among other things, Mark Lerman is known for being one of the testers for the first version of DotA.
Sikle will have to help Team Spirit with a performance at PGL Arlington Major 2022, where representatives of this tag are currently playing. Team Spirit advanced to the playoffs from Group B, finishing third there. The team will play against the Outsiders in the first round.
The final stage of the PGL Arlington Major 2022 takes place from 9 to 14 August. The venue for the championship was Esports Stadium Arlington, which can accommodate 2,500 people. The total prize fund of the tournament is $500,000, and it is shared by 17 teams that have qualified for the tournament. Initially, the number of participants was supposed to be 18 teams, but Xtreme Gaming withdrew from the event due to visa problems. 12 teams made it to the playoffs: PSG.LGD, BOOM Esports, Entity,OG, Outsiders, Team Spirit, Team Aster, Fnatic, beastcoast, Royal Never Give Up, Evil Geniuses and Team Liquid. Talon Esports, Thunder Awaken, Soniqs, Natus Vincere and Tundra Esports have already completed their path in the championship. After the end of the event, the list of invited participants for The International 2022 will be announced.
