Thunder Awaken qualified for ESL One Malaysia 2022
/The closed qualifiers for ESL One Malaysia 2022 for South America have ended, as a result of which the Thunder Awaken team has received the right to play in the upcoming championship in Malaysia. In turn, we invite you to get acquainted with the results of the last qualifier and present the intermediate composition of the participants of ESL One Malaysia 2022.
In the course of the closed qualifier, Vintage's wards managed to outplay Ukumari (2:0), but lost to Tempest (0:2) in the semi-finals and fell into the lower bracket. Here the Peruvian team managed to cope with TOXIC BOYS SKR (2:0), Hokori (2:1) and Tempest (2:1) to get to the grand final of the qualifier. In the decisive match, Thunder Awaken proved to be stronger than beastcoast (3:1), thanks to which she earned a ticket to ESL One Malaysia 2022.
Note that the next championship for the team will be PGL Arlington Major 2022, which will start next week. Thunder Awaken made it there as the winner of DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I.

ESL One Malaysia 2022 will take place from August 23 to 28 at Genting Highlands at the Arena of Stars. Twelve teams from Europe, Southeast Asia, China, North and South America will take part in the championship and compete for a total prize pool of $400,000.
