Royal Never Give Up became the second participant of PGL Arlington Major
Maksym ShylovToday, the Chinese organization Royal Never Give Up defeated Xtreme Gaming with a score of 2:0 as part of the final part of the DPC 2021/2022 ranking season. Somnus and the team became the first Dota 2 roster from China to qualify for the PGL Arlington Major.
Royal Never Give Up started their performance in DPC CN 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I with a sensational defeat from Dandelion Esport Club with a score of 2:0. After the team beat EHOME with a score of 2:1. This was followed by clear victories over Aster.Aries, Vici Gaming and Team Aster. Today's RNG victory brought their statistics to 5-1, which is enough for a place in the top 4 of the regional standings. The team is still waiting for the duel with PSG.LGD, but for xNova and his teammates it won't change anything radically.
The well-known Chinese club will join OG for the second Major of this year, as we wrote about earlier.
Recall that the PGL Arlington Major will be held from August 4-14 this year in LAN format in Arlington, Virginia. The top 18 teams from around the world will compete for a $500,000 prize pool and 4,570 DPC points. The winner will earn the grand prize of $200,000 and 820 DPC points.
