The International 11 will be held in Singapore
Valve has officially unveiled the venue for The International 11 Dota 2. The championship, which will draw the line of the outgoing competitive season, will be held in Singapore at the Indoor Stadium and Suntec Arena. The official announcement of the venue of the championship took place during the broadcast of the grand final of ESL One Stockholm Major 2022.
It is interesting that earlier the developers stirred up interest with all kinds of publications, posting photos with figurines of MOBA characters against the backdrop of a beach and a pond with a fountain, indirectly hinting at the venue of The International 11.
The dates for The International 11 will be announced later. However, it can be assumed that the championship will take place in the autumn.
Currently, the names of only two participants in The International 11 are known - PSG.LGD and TSM FTX. Teams have reached the required number of DPC points at the end of two seasons.

The updated format of The International 2022
- In total, 20 teams will play at the tournament: the top 12 will go to the final tournament of the year according to the DPC rating, 6 teams will go through regional qualifications, 2 will get to TI11 from the Wild Card.
- Valve is returning the Wild Card format: before the start of TI 11, a mini-tournament will be held in a LAN format for 12 teams. The list of Wild Card participants will be formed from the clubs that took 2nd and 3rd place in the regional qualifiers. The format of the event will be announced later.
- Teams at TI 22 will be divided into 2 groups of 10 clubs each. As a result of the group stage, 4 teams will leave the tournament, instead of 2, as was the case at The International in previous years.
Recall that last year's The International 10 took place in Romania. Initially, Valve planned to organize the championship in Stockholm, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the tournament was moved to Bucharest.
The current champion of The International is Team Spirit, who defeated PSG.LGD in the grand final and earned $18,208,300.
