BB Team became the champion of Dota 2 Champions League Season 9

Dota 2 Champions League Season 9 has come to an end. At the championship, which was held online from April 4 to 23, sixteen teams from Europe and the CIS competed for a prize pool of $50,000. The winner of the tournament was BB Team, which outplayed Gambit Esports with a score of 3:2 in a tense final.

The tournament for the future winner began with the 1/4 final stage, where the BB Team was invited by the organizers. Here the Russian team beat No Sorry (2:0), Ka4kanarskie cyxariki (2:0) and Virtus.pro (2:1) one by one to reach the grand final.

In the decisive match, BB Team managed to overcome Gambit Esports in a bitter struggle (3:2). At the same time, the team literally turned the game around, managing to return with the score 1:2. With this victory, BB Team earned $20,000.

Note that the tournament operator Epic Esports Events has already announced the tenth season of Dota 2 Champions League. The championship will start tomorrow, April 25.
