Mira to miss GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022
/The Russian esports organization Team Spirit has announced changes to the Dota 2 roster for the upcoming GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022. Mira will not take part in the tournament, while RodjER, currently playing for CIS Rejects, will take his place on the server. In an official announcement, the club said that Mira is in Kyiv and cannot leave the country due to hostilities on the territory of a sovereign state.
The Team Spirit Dota 2 roster will perform at the GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022 tournament with a replacement. Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov" is in Ukraine and will not be able to take part in the tournament. He is safe and receiving all the necessary assistance. He will be replaced by Vladimir "RodjER" Nikoghosyan.
All prize money from the tournament will be donated to the Red Cross Movement.
RodjER has been with CIS Rejects since November last year. Together with the team, the 28-year-old Russian esportsman won DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 1: Division II, and also took fourth place at Dota 2 Champions League Season 6.
GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022 will take place from 2 to 6 March in Dubai. The prize fund of the championship is about $272,482. Team Spirit will play in the same group with Tundra Esports, TSM, Nigma Galaxy and Fnatic.
