The celebration of Counter-Strike 2 called BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 continues. Along with it our series of betting tips dedicated to the main tournament of this summer in the world of CS2 continues.
Within the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Long Season the second stage will be held, where new, more top teams will enter the battle. Among them are Falcons, who will open their journey with a match against B8.

Before the final betting prediction, let's understand the state of the teams in this match. Here we have a clear favourite and that is Falcons.
All the bookmakers have agreed that Falcons are unqualified favourites and it is pointless to argue with that. After the arrival of NiKo and m0nesy, the Falcons have started to play hard. It will be hard for B8, but anything is possible. Let's break it down.

We open betting prediction on Falcons - B8 with analysis of Falcons form. As mentioned above, they are in the status of clear favourite.
For the whole of 2023 Falcons have been, as they say, in search of themselves. They started the professional season with appearances at B-Tier tournaments: Thunderpick Bitcoin Series #2, OMEN WRG Challenge 2023 and CCT West Europe Series #1. At the first two, they celebrated a top-2 finish, and at the more prestigious CCT, a top-8 finish.
Later tried to make it to the Paris Major . Had two attempts, at BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023: European RMR A and BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023: European RMR B. Both were unsuccessful: top-11 and top-6.
In the middle of the year, Falcons continued to bang their heads against the wall. Top-13 at ESL Challenge League Season 45: Europe, Top-10 at ESL Championnat National Spring 2023 and Top-24 at Thunderpick World Championship 2023: European Series #1.
Tried to qualify for IEM Sydney 2023, but fell off at the top-64 stage in the open qualifiers. As a Saudi Arabian club they got a slot at Gamers8 2023, where they played to the best of their ability, which was Top 16.

At the end of the year Falcons tried to make DreamTeam. So far it's going so well, because they failed the first tournament with the new squad. That was BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2024, where the team finished in the top 12.
At IEM Katowice 2024 they got to the IEM Katowice 2024 by ESL Ranking points. There they were ranked in the top 10 before the tournament's Long Shogpeg, but for what merits - a big mystery.
IEM Katowice 2024 Falcons started with a defeat against the best team of Turkey - Eternal Fire. After losing to the Turks, Falcons were close to crashing out of the tournament in a lower bracket match against Rebels, but managed to stay afloat thanks to a 2-1 win. In fact, a similar situation happened in the match against CoL, where Falcons gave up the first map, but cameback on the second and closed the series with a third. Later they defeated NaVi, and at the end of the championship they took the top 4, Ledgeiv to the future champions from Team Spirit.
Later they played at ESL Pro League Season 19, where they completely failed, finishing in the top-28. IEM Dallas 2024 started with a loss to G2, but then confidently ran over Monte with a score of 2-0. However, the Falcons were not enough for much more and at the end of IEM Dallas 2024 they finished in TOP-9-12.
Before the performance at IEM Dallas 2024 they visited Challengers at DreamHack. They got to IEM Dallas 2024 thanks to ESL rankings. However, IEM Dallas 2024 did not manage to go far: TOP-12. In general, in the season 2024 Falcons showed a disgusting game, only moments, like at the BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2024, got into the prizes.
The Falcons' high point in the 2024 season was their performance at PW Shanghai Major 2024: European RMR A, where the team finished in the Top 14 before reaching the main tournament.
Dream Team Long Sogpeg's 2025 season began with an appearance at BLAST Bounty Season 1. There, Falcons expectedly failed, finishing in the top 16. At the following IEM Katowice 2025 nothing changed: TOP-16, no chance.
PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 is better than all the tournaments the Falcons played in the 2025 season. They reached the play-offs for the first time in a long time, winning the Swiss 3-1. In the first round of play-offs Falcons pleasantly surprised by beating Eternal Fire 2-0. Next up was a win over FaZe, but a loss to MOUZ in the grand finals.
They started ESL Pro League Season 21 with a win over Liquid. Next, we lost to MOUZ and 3DMax. They clung to life at the tournament by beating FURIA, but then came Eternal Fire and the Falcons' elimination at the top-11.
At the BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 Falcons Long started their performance with a defeat to MOUZ and ended up in the bottom of Group A, beating Huns Esports. However, already in the next round they lost to Vp, thus finishing the BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 on the 12th place.
At PGL Bucharest 2025 Falcons lost to CoL and GamerLegion, but barely beat paiN, keeping a chance for play-offs. They went on to beat Rare Atom and qualified for the play-offs after beating MongolZ. They opened the main part of PGL Bucharest 2025 with a victory over GamerLegion. Then they beat FaZe 2-1 and in the grand final they literally wiped out their principal rival G2, winning the first major CS2 tournament in a long time.
IEM Melbourne 2025 opened with a win against sAw. Then they outplayed NaVi, but in the match for seeding in play-offs Ledge and Vitality, thus Long Sogpegov in the main stage from the quarter-finals. In the first round of the play-offs they destroyed GamerLegion, ending the game 2-0, while giving up a total of 7 rounds in the series. The semi-finals followed pretty much the same scenario, 13-3 and 13-6 in favour of the Falcons. In the grand finals, Falcons lost to Vitality 2-3 and it was one of the most colourful matches in Counter-Strike 2 history.
At BLAST Rivals Season 1, Falcons continued to show off their high class Counter-Strike 2. They defeated FaZe and Spirit in the group stage, thus winning Group B and advancing straight to the semi-finals of BLAST Rivals Season 1. They beat MOUZ 2-0 to advance to the grand finals. In the grand finals of BLAST Rivals Season 1 Falcons once again played against Vitality and once again Ledgeili with the score 2-3.
B8 form. What result can be expected from B8
We continue betting prediction on B8 - Falcons with the analysis of B8 form. They play as a second team.
B8 can be characterised as a real workhorse. The team is at the crossroads between TIR-3 and TIR-2, but they are consistently "shining" at quite big tournaments. It also plays a lot, as is often the case with TIR-2 teams on the Counter-Strike competitive scene.
During the 2024 season B8 had several big achievements by the standards of the club. The team finished in the top 4 at RES Eastern European Masters: Spring 2024 and a similar place at RES European Series #2. In the middle of the year there were also victories at TIR-B tournaments. Thus, B8 became the champions of CCT Season 2 European Series #2 and Elisa Invitational Spring 2024, and also won CCT Season 2 European Series #5.
Unfortunately for B8 and their fans, the victories at the aforementioned tournaments did not turn into a stable win streak. At the same CCT the team finished top-8 at Series #12 and top-8 at Series #13.

Before playing at ESL Challenger Katowice 2024, the team played at YaLLa Compass 2024, where they had bad luck and finished in TOP-18. Next was an appearance at CCT Season 2: European Series #12, CCT Season 2, European Series #13 with TOP-8.
Just before the Shanghai Major 2024: European RMR B they played Elisa Masters Espoo 2024, where they took TOP-4 and ESL Challenger Katowice 2024, where they took TOP-2.
At PW Shanghai Major 2024: European RMR B, the B8 Long team started with a defeat by Spirit, which is quite a logical result. Then they lost to Aurora, who are above B8 in the HLTV rankings. At the end of PW Shanghai Major 2024: European RMR B, they finished in the top 16.
In the 2025 Long Season, Long Cogged with BLAST Bounty Spring 2025: Closed Qualifier, where they finished in the Top-32 Ledge or G2 round. Next was Top-8 at CCT Season 2 European Series #16, Top-4 at CCT Season 2 European Series #17, and then won CCT Season 2 European Series #18, which was one of the biggest wins of the season.
Prior to playing at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, they attended CCT Season 2 Global Finals, finishing Top 2, Top 3 at MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025 and won ESL Challenger League Season 49: Europe. At the Major itself, they got in through European qualifiers, taking the borderline 6th place.
B8 already Long Sogpeg at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 and Long Sogpeg did well: the first stage at BLAST.tv Austin Major went 3-0, seriously establishing themselves as a capable team.
Recent head to head: First-ever meeting
Technically, the teams played each other in 2023. However, it doesn't make sense to draw conclusions from matches two years ago, so we believe that the Falcons and B8 are playing each other for the first time. At least, they haven't played each other in these lineups.
Players to watch: npl and m0NESY
Obviously, the main stars will be m0NESY and NiKo, who play for Falcons. However, the B8 players who went through the first stage with a 3-0 score. For B8 especially npl who has a statistic of 1.18, which of course is not the level of m0NESY with his 1.24, but the latter has not yet made it to this Major.

Among the unfavourable maps for Falcons are Vertigo and Anubis. On the former they have 3 matches and 1 win, while on Anubis they have 1 loss.

B8 has two 100% maps. They are Nuke with 9 wins in 14 matches, and Anubis with 5 matches and 4 wins.
They also play Ancient (66% wins in 3 matches). Still playing Mirage (9 matches, 4 wins). Vertigo with 2 wins and 3 losses and Overpass (2 wins in 7 matches).
Inferno are not playing.

Despite B8's 3-0 win over the Falcons in Stage 1, unfortunately it's too early for them to take on the Falcons. Especially with the Falcons we saw as the 2025 season progressed.
