How the bookies view it: MOUZ favorite
Most bookmakers consider MOUZ the favorite in the match against G2 Esports at the BLAST Open Fall 2025: Closed Qualifier. The team is among the strongest this season and has secured podium finishes in almost every event they participated in. However, G2 Esports should not be underestimated — the team is once again reaching a solid level of play, as confirmed by their victory in the previous match against Team Liquid.
MOUZ form. What result can be expected from MOUZ
Our CS2 betting tips for the MOUZ vs. G2 Esports matchup begin with analyzing MOUZ form.
MOUZ roster: torzsi, xertioN, Jimpphat, Brollan, Spinx.
We traditionally begin the analysis with the 2023 season. Back then, MOUZ were not as formidable a team as they are now, but they were already showing promising results. At IEM Cologne 2023, MOUZ defeated The MongolZ, NiP, and NaVi, but then lost two matches and finished in 9th–12th place.
In their debut match at ESL Pro League Season 18, MOUZ played against mibr. Despite being the favorite, the team unexpectedly lost to the Brazilians and ended up in the lower bracket of Group B. The group stage was mixed for MOUZ but ultimately successful. A loss in the upper bracket seemed to energize the team — they easily passed their opponents, including Heroic, in the lower bracket. Without a single loss in the lower bracket, MOUZ advanced further.
MOUZ showed even better performance in the playoffs. They defeated FURIA, swept FaZe Clan, followed by wins over G2 Esports and ENCE. In the grand final of ESL Pro League S18, MOUZ beat NaVi 3-0, becoming the tournament champions.
Their strong performances continued at IEM Sydney 2023 (3rd–4th place), CS Asia Championships 2023 (2nd place), and BLAST Premier: World Final 2023 (3rd–4th place). It was in the 2023 season that MOUZ began to be considered a serious threat on the professional CS2 scene.
The 2024 season was no less eventful for MOUZ. The team first placed in the top 8 at PGL Major CS2 Copenhagen 2024, then solidified their success with a 2nd place finish at Intel Extreme Masters Chengdu 2024.
At ESL Pro League Season 19, MOUZ once again proved their strength in this tournament. They looked very confident in the playoffs — winning the entire championship and sweeping Vitality 3-0 in the grand final.
At IEM Dallas 2024, they only finished in the top 12 — a surprising result for a team of this caliber.
At the Esports World Cup 2024, MOUZ started with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Sashi Esports. In the playoffs, they defeated FURIA (2-1) and finished in the top 4, losing to NaVi in the final.
At IEM Cologne 2024, the situation was similar — MOUZ played well again and finished in the top 4, once again losing to NaVi.
At ESL Pro League Season 20, MOUZ unexpectedly underperformed and failed to reach the playoffs. This may have been due to fatigue, as MOUZ had a very busy season.
At IEM Rio 2024, MOUZ returned to form, defeating Complexity and FaZe. In the playoffs, they beat Vitality (2-1) and FURIA (2-0), but lost the final to NaVi 1-3, finishing 2nd. At BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 — top 6.
At PW Shanghai Major 2024, they reached the elimination stage thanks to a top 1-2 finish at European RMR A. They started with a win over paiN Gaming, but then lost to MongolZ and FaZe, followed by a victory over 3DMax. In a do-or-die match, they beat MIBR. In the playoffs, they defeated MongolZ 2-0 (with some difficulties) but lost to Spirit 0-2.
The 2025 season started off rough. At BLAST Bounty Spring 2025: Closed Qualifier, the team only placed in the top 32, and at IEM Katowice 2025, they were eliminated in the group stage, finishing 16th.
MOUZ showed a strong result at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025. The team began with wins over BIG and 3DMax, but then lost to Falcons and FaZe. In the decisive match, they defeated VP and reached the main stage. In the playoffs, they successively beat paiN Gaming, Astralis, and Falcons, becoming the tournament champions.
This was followed by a series of podium finishes:
- 2nd place at ESL Pro League Season 21, BLAST Open Spring 2025, and IEM Dallas 2025;
- 3rd–4th place at IEM Melbourne 2025, BLAST Rivals Spring 2025, and BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.
At IEM Cologne 2025, MOUZ played beyond all praise. The team first defeated Team Liquid and NaVi 2-0, and then lost to Team Spirit 1-2 in the Group Stage Upper Bracket Final, still advancing to the playoffs.
In the playoffs, MOUZ started with a 2-1 victory over FURIA, which they followed up with a confident 2-0 victory over Vitality, the strongest team of the season. However, in the final, the team lost 0-3 to Team Spirit, finishing in 2nd place at IEM Cologne 2025.
MOUZ also placed 3rd-4th at BLAST Bounty Fall 2025 and 5th-8th at the Esports World Cup 2025.

To understand the full range of G2 Esports skills, let’s start with their 2023 season. The team participated in a significant number of tournaments, with the first major one being ESL Pro League Season 18. G2 began with a confident 2:0 victory over Lynn Vision, although they came dangerously close to losing the first map. They advanced to the playoffs and reached the quarterfinals, where they faced MOUZ. The "Mice" defeated G2 and later went on to become EPL S18 champions.
Before participating in the BLAST Premier: World Final 2023, G2 competed in two more tournaments: the BLAST Premier: Fall European Showdown 2023 and IEM Sydney 2023. On both occasions, they finished in the top 4. While respectable, these results showed that the team had the potential to achieve even more.
Ahead of the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 Europe RMR, G2 took part in three high-level events: BLAST Premier: World Final 2023, BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2024, and IEM Katowice 2024. They finished in the top 6 in all three, gradually approaching peak form.
At the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR A, G2 finally broke through and secured a top-2 finish, earning a Legends slot at the Copenhagen Major. At the main event, they reached the playoffs and placed in the top 4, losing in the semifinals to the eventual champions — NaVi.
At IEM China 2024, the "Samurai" — as the team is also called — finished in the top 4 again. At ESL Pro League Season 19, they made it to the top 8, once again falling to the eventual winners, MOUZ.
At IEM Dallas 2024, G2 claimed a grand final victory over Vitality with a 2:1 scoreline. They also competed at BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024, finishing in the top 8.

Later, G2 got their revenge on NaVi by defeating them in the final of BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024. However, they couldn’t sustain the winning streak and ended up in 13th–16th place at IEM Rio Masters 2024.
G2 rebounded at the BLAST Premier: World Final 2024, where they secured another trophy with a dominant 3:0 win over Team Spirit in the final.
The team also participated in the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024. They reached the playoffs and defeated FaZe Clan, but lost to Heroic and finished in the top 4.
In the 2025 season, G2 Esports took part in the BLAST Bounty Spring 2025, where they again secured a top-4 finish after losing to FaZe. They also placed in the top 4 at IEM Katowice 2025 and qualified for the playoffs at ESL Pro League Season 21, though they failed to progress further.
After significant roster changes when m0NESY and NiKo left the team, G2 took part in BLAST Open Spring 2025, finished in the top 6 and took top 2 at PGL Bucharest 2025.
At the Blast.tv Austin Major 2025, G2 delivered a mediocre performance. The team secured a few wins and finished in 9th-11th place.
At IEM Cologne 2025, G2 Esports performed roughly at the expected level. The team started directly in the Group Stage, defeating FURIA 2-0 in their first match. However, they then lost 0-2 to Vitality and dropped to the lower bracket. In the lower bracket, G2 defeated 3DMAX 2-0, but then lost 0-2 to FURIA and were eliminated, finishing in the top 8.
At BLAST Bounty Fall 2025: Closed Qualifier and the Esports World Cup 2025, G2 Esports had disappointing performances, finishing in the top 16.
