FaZe Clan, NAVI and BIG earned their first points at ESL Pro League Season 14

The first round of Group C within ESL Pro League Season 14 has ended. As a result of interesting fights, three leaders have formed in the struggle to reach the playoffs of the championship. But we propose to talk about everything in detail.

BIG - Evil Geniuses

The game day was opened, and at the same time battles in the aforementioned group, BIG and Evil Geniuses. Both teams worked in the transfer market, refreshing their lineups. But if the German team made an in-game replacement, then "Evil Geniuses" rescued daps from the VALORANT, making the Canadian their coach. However, it was daps that took the fifth player slot as stanislaw decided to skip ESL Pro League Season 14 and get back motivation.

It was in such formations that the teams started. Nuke's map started with a slight edge from the North American team, which began to lose the initiative closer to the side change. Well, in the attack, Evil Geniuses showed nothing worthwhile, as a result of which they got the first stone in their garden - 16: 9. The situation on Dust 2 became even more tense for the North American, as the first half ended in defeat and tabseN extravaganza. In this case, the fate of the fight smoothly moved to the expected outcome - BIG's victory with a score of 16: 8.

NAVI - fnatic

Then we watched the battle between NAVI and fnatic. And if the first ones gathered at the bootcamp in the same composition, then the British organization returned to their roots by inviting ALEX and mezii. Give credit to fnatic, who tried to fight on the first map; and after the disastrous first half, the team made a comeback, which smoothly flowed into overtime. But here “Born to Win” felt the opponent's weakness, with which she quickly brought the matter to a victorious end - 22:19.

The intrigue on the Nuke map was alive exactly until the moment when NAVI went over to defense. Here the team quickly leveled the gap, and at the same time punished the opponent for all the mistakes made. As a result - a confident victory of the leader of the world ranking at its peak with a score of 16:12 and the first points in the group.

FaZe Clan - mousesports

In the evening, the European "El Clasico" was waiting for us, in which the main roles had to be played by the players of FaZe Clan and mousesports. The perfectly logical choice of Overpass from the "mice" turned out to be a failure pretty soon, as olofmeister and the company quickly galloped forward, leaving behind a pillar of dust. Despite all attempts by mousesports to regain control of the situation, FaZe Clan managed to put the squeeze on the opponent and lead the series - 16:14.

We all remember that Ancient is a protection card. In this scenario, the first half began, in which the “mice” did not let the opponent breathe. At some point, I wanted to believe that FaZe Clan was about to return to the game, but a series of mistakes predetermined the outcome of the map in favor of mousesports - 16: 7.

Initially, Inferno looked like a great option for "mice" who felt and understood the map some time ago. However, already at the start of the third map, FaZe Clan made it clear that she was determined to win. As a result, a confident start from the team in the attack practically predetermined the fate of the meeting, leaving mousesports with only grains of sand in the form of four "rounds of prestige" - 16: 8.

Group C table

5 fnatic 0-1 31-38 -7 0
6 Evil Geniuses 0-1 17-32 -15 0

Today, August 28, the next three meetings will take place. In the first one, BIG will try to strengthen its position in the match against fnatic. Next, players from NAVI and mousesports will enter the server, while in the evening FaZe Clan will test the strength of Evil Geniuses.
