ESL has officially announced a replacement for the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 14. Team Renegades pulled out of ESL Pro League Season 14, citing pandemic-related restrictions in Australia that prevented the team from traveling to Europe and competing online.

The organizers invited forZe to replace the Australian team as the next team in the ESL World Ranking, in which Jerry and the company are currently ranked 20th. The Russian team will perform in Group B, the battles in which are scheduled for August 21-26.

"Unfortunately, due to the global pandemic right now we will not be able to take part in ESL Pro League Season 14. Now we will compete in ESEA Premier next season and prepare for RMR, and hopefully, we will qualify for the Major and will be able to take part at the end of the year, "INS said in a video posted by Renegades on Twitter.

Renegades' exit from the tournament will be a tough pill to swallow after the team ended last season with an unexpected qualification for IEM Cologne 2021, beating OG along the way. Australians had hoped to build on this result after the summer vacation ended, but recent government restrictions have made it difficult to leave and return to Europe.
