So the path of the mousesports team at the ongoing Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2021 championship has come to an end. The last opponent that ropz and his teammates were unable to overcome was Team Liquid. FalleN and his brothers-in-arms lost in the fight against mousesports on Dust 2, having previously outplayed their rivals on Nuke, and on the third map a real fierce struggle broke out for the right to further participate in IEM Cologne 2021. The teams came to the conclusion that they needed to take a series of additional rounds... One overtime series was not enough. Two too. And three. In the fourth series of additional rounds, mousesports' forces were not enough to confront their rivals from Liquid.

Earlier, according to the results of the first semifinal match in the upper bracket, the first finalists of Group A were the players from Gambit Esports. NiP fell into the lower bracket, where they will play against the winner of the Virtus.pro vs Complexity Gaming match. Team Liquid, who advanced to the next round of the lower bracket, will fight with the losing participant of the BIG vs G2 Esports meeting, who are playing for reaching the final of the upper bracket in Group A.

Earlier, following the results of the Play-In stage, teams such as OG, Evil Geniuses, MIBR and others have already completed their path in the championship. The teams received from $ 2,500 to $ 4,500, depending on their place in the standings.
