StarLadder CIS RMR 2021: Gambit Esports is the first grand finalist

Quite an interesting duel between the teams in the upper bracket has come to an end. In this principled CIS, el-clasico Gambit Esports once again replenish their assets with a victory against Natus Vincere.

The first map where the teams fought was Dust 2. There Natus Vincere beat Gambit Esports without any problems. As a result, sh1ro and his teammates took 8 rounds with difficulty and went to Inferno. On the second map, NAVI got off to a good start, taking 5 rounds in a row from the very beginning. After that, Gambit rebuilt their game, got together and took 10 rounds in a row and finished the first half with a score of 10-5 in their favor. The rest of the fight was largely dictated by Gambit. On the third map, namely on Mirage, both participants of the meeting showed an iron grip and fortitude. Both halves turned out to be extremely balanced and mirrored. Gambit started on the attack side and took 8 rounds, and after the transition, NAVI also took the same 8 rounds for the attack. To determine the winner on the last map, the teams had to resort to using additional rounds. As a result, Natus Vincere could not take a single round in overtime and ended their fight in defeat. Perhaps NAVI will be lucky next time in the struggle of Gambit, but so far their confrontation with their, perhaps, the most principled rival has again ended in defeat.

The last fight between Gambit Esports and Natus Vincere took place within the same StarLadder CIS RMR 2021 on July 1. The teams played on the same maps, Dust 2, Inferno and Mirage, and the fight also ended in a 2-1 victory for Gambit Esports.
