Historic comeback - Virtus.pro made the biggest comeback in Dust 2

Yesterday's match between Virtus.pro and ENCE has become truly historic. In the first round of the final stage of ESL Pro League Season 13 VP played against ENCE, where they were defeated on Dust 2 with a score of 3-15, but then they got together and made the largest comeback on Dust 2 in the history of the esports discipline.

After returning to the game, the teams fought the Finns in additional rounds. The meeting ended with the first series of overtimes with a score of 19-17. The factor of the fact that what happened on the third map makes this moment even more epic. On Inferno, Virtus.pro prevailed with a score of 16-6, and on Train, ENCE defeated their opponents with a score of 16-7.

HLTV claims that Dust 2 has played 9,899 matches over the entire history of CS: GO, more than 8 years. In 253 of them, the attacking side led 15-3. No team before Virtus.pro managed to return to the game after such a breaking score.

As a reminder, ENCE finished their way in the championship in 9-12 positions and received a reward of $ 25,000. Virtus.pro, in turn, advanced to the quarterfinals, where they will fight Complexity Gaming.

EPL # 13 started on March 8th and will end on April 11th. The total prize pool of the tournament is $ 750,000. The winner will take home $ 175,000 and the runner-up $ 60,000. In addition, teams will receive $ 5,000 for each match won in the group stage.
