Rumor: Xyp9x returned to training with Astralis

A thread was created on reddit in which one of the users showed a screenshot taken from the server where Xyp9x plays along with the rest of the CS: GO roster.

According to this screenshot, there are six people on the server, including the Zonic trainer. Dev1ce and Bubzkji are missing from the main roster. Users have already formed theories in which, in their opinion, dev1ce will recede into the background, and Xyp9x will take its place.

Let us remind you that Astralis management talked about their new strategy regarding the CS: GO roster. The organization wants to form a roster, in which there will be substitutes. In case of deterioration of the health of any of the players or the appearance of other circumstances that prevent one of the team members from playing, the cybersportsmen sitting on the bench will enter the game and play the match as if nothing had happened. In addition, there is already discussion in the community regarding the possibility of regular replacement of players, the advantages of which can be used on different maps with different defined approaches to the game.

It is also possible that Astralis will make a substitution in the ESL Pro League Season 12 Europe match, which will take place today. The team will face Heroic in the Danish derby to reach the semifinals of the upper bracket.

Xyp9x went intoactive of its own accord in May. The reason was the desire to improve their health. He, unlike gla1ve, did not name a specific date when he wants to return. The team captain went intoactive for a similar reason, as well as in connection with burnout and loss of motivation. Lucas 'gla1ve' Rossander said he was going to return in 3 months and kept his word. Almost 5 months have passed since the Xyp9x inactive, and therefore the probability of his return to the ranks of Astralis is quite high.
