ESL Pro League Season 12: events digest
Ihor MatusEurope
No miracle happened in the confrontation between FaZe Clan and Team Spirit. The Europeans were defeated in the fifth match in a row and thus lost five out of five possible meetings. However, they gave their fans some positive emotions thanks to one won card. As a reminder, Nuke has become the first map won by the Europeans in the last ten maps played against Spirit. Kjaerbye has yet to bring to the team what she lacks for a comeback from a losing streak.
Team Vitality faced off against Fnatic and defeated the latter 2-0. If Inferno was tense and kept the intrigue until the end, as a result of which it ended with a score of 16-13, then Dust 2 was much easier in this regard and the Swedes were able to take away from the French only 8 rounds.
The battle between Astralis and NiP was the most uninteresting and the Swedes took 13 rounds from the Danes in total on two maps. Dust 2 ended 16-6 and Train 16-7.
North America
One match took place in America. Chaos Esports Club and Triumph competed against each other. The first map ended with a devastating defeat for Chaos, where Triumph defeated opponents with a score of 16-3, and in the remaining two, Chaos Esports Club beat opponents with a score of 16-6 and 16-7.
