PGL unveil the team list for PGL Bucharest 2026
The teams that have accepted invitations to PGL Bucharest 2026 have been revealed. PGL announced 12 teams that accepted direct invites to the tournament, which will take place from April 4 to April 11 in Bucharest. In addition to the invited teams, four more spots will be decided through closed regional qualifiers.

PGL Bucharest 2026 will be held from April 4 to April 11 in the capital of Romania and will feature 16 teams from around the world. Besides the 12 invited squads, four additional teams will qualify through closed regional qualifiers scheduled for February 26 to March 1.
The total prize pool stands at $1,250,000 ($625,000 allocated to the players and $625,000 to the organizations), with $200,000 awarded to the champion.
Additionally, the VRS ranking will be updated during PGL Bucharest 2026, though it will not impact invitations to the summer Major in Cologne. As a result, several top-tier teams reportedly declined their invitations to the event, prioritizing other tournaments that carry greater significance for the Major qualification cycle.
