Heroic, who won ESL One Cologne 2020 Online Europe, started their participation in ESL Pro League Season 12 Europe with a defeat. They could not beat ENCE, but they took one card from the Finns.

Recently, Heroic's coach HUNDEN was embroiled in a scandal in which it was revealed that he was abusing a bug during tournaments from DreamHack and ESL. The bug allowed the coach to watch opponents. After HUNDEN was deemed to be the leader in exploiting this flaw, the Dane was suspended from the competition for 1 year.

Heroic has been suspended from HUNDEN and now players are forced to play without him. After the defeat, the Danish team took 5th place in their group after BIG, NAVI, ENCE and G2 Esports.
