Team Spirit kicked off their ESL Pro League Season 22 campaign with a 2:1 victory over the Ukrainian roster Inner Circle. Considering the level of Team Spirit, Inner Circle delivered a commendable performance and came close to both overtime and a potential upset. Just six months ago, the Ukrainian roster was competing on the tier-3 scene, ranked 228th on HLTV, but now they’ve managed to challenge the world’s No. 2 team. Team Spirit, meanwhile, start the tournament with a win and move into the 1-0 pool. The ESL Pro League Season 22 main stage runs from October 4 to 12, with the winner earning $100,000 for the team and $150,000 for the organization.
