
Rain leaves FaZe after almost 10 years, Twistzz takes his place
Håvard "rain" Nygaard has been benched after almost a decade with FaZe Clan. The news was announced on FaZe’s official X page, where the organization thanked rain for all the years spent together.
Rain’s history with FaZe

rain joined FaZe back in January 2016. Since then, he has played and won numerous tournaments with different lineups and became the player who spent the most time in the team — 3,540 days. Among rain’s achievements with FaZe are:

rain was also included three times in the HLTV Top 20 players of the year: 4th in 2017, 18th in 2018, and 13th in 2022. His total prize money with FaZe exceeds $1.83 million, making him one of the wealthiest Scandinavian players on the CS pro scene.

A new chapter for FaZe
The spot left by rain in FaZe will be taken by Canadian star Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken. For the organization, this marks the return of a familiar face: Twistzz has already won multiple titles with FaZe and was one of the key players during their golden era. Before that, since December 2023, he had been playing for Team Liquid. His debut in the renewed FaZe roster will take place very soon — at ESL Pro League Season 22.
