Global Esports company NIP Group has announced the appointment of Randy Hearst Harris as an Independent Director to its Board of Directors.

Harris will advise NIP Group’s board and participate in steering the company by utilizing his experience in media, entertainment and venture capital.

Randy Hearst Harris is a founder of 3V, a sports management company specialising in hockey player management in Canada. He is also an investor with a portfolio in AI, technology and real estate. NIP Group’s Independent Director is also a member of the Hearst family, known for owning a large number of media outlets and other ventures for more than a century.

Hearst Harris is the seventh member of the NIP Group’s board, together with the Co-founders Mario Ho and Hicham Chahine and another independent director, Carter Jack Feldman, among others. The expansion of the board follows NIP Group’s rapid expansion as a whole, with the company listed on NASDAQ earlier this year. NIP Group has recently expanded to include a game publishing branch and has partnered with BTG Homeinns to enter the hospitality industry.

Mario Ho, Chairman and Co-CEO of NIP Group, commented: “Randy’s extensive experience and passion for the digital sector make him an exceptional addition to NIP Group.
