BLAST Spring Final 2024: Playoff Quarterfinal Results

Add as a Preferred Source

Just a couple of days remain until the end of the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024, and only four teams are left in the tournament. The fight for the championship title is now between Virtus.pro, Team Vitality, Natus Vincere, and Team Spirit. How did it happen that Astralis and FaZe Clan were eliminated from the tournament? Let's delve into it.

BLAST Spring Final 2024: Playoff Quarterfinal Results

FaZe Clan vs Team Vitality

It all started on the map Inferno, where FaZe Clan established total dominance on the attacking side. Despite Team Vitality winning the first pistol round and the subsequent round, FaZe Clan managed to win 8 rounds while attacking. After switching sides, FaZe didn't give a single round or chance to ZywOo and his team, sending them to the second map without room for error. On the second map, FaZe Clan once again demonstrated their instability on Dust 2, which we had seen in their previous match against Natus Vincere. In this face-off, FaZe Clan put up a fight, but Team Vitality managed to tie the series. The final map was Mirage, where karrigan and his team failed to show a tactical advantage, and Team Vitality won the decisive map with a crushing score.

  • 1. FaZe removed Vertigo
  • 2. Vitality removed Ancient
  • 3. FaZe picked Inferno (FaZe Clan 13:4 Team Vitality)
  • 4. Vitality picked Dust2 (Team Vitality 13:10 FaZe Clan)
  • 5. FaZe removed Anubis
  • 6. Vitality removed Nuke
  • 7. Mirage was left over (Team Vitality 13:6 FaZe Clan)

Virtus.pro vs Astralis

Two maps in this face-off followed a very similar scenario. Initially, Astralis won 4 rounds at the beginning of each map, but then lost the first half with a score of 8-4 on both maps. Unfortunately for Danish fans, Astralis couldn't show their best today and allowed Virtus.pro to advance to the semifinals. Astralis finished in 5th-6th place at the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024.

  • 1. Astralis removed Anubis
  • 2. Virtus.pro removed Nuke
  • 3. Astralis picked Inferno (Virtus.pro 13:8 Astralis)
  • 4. Virtus.pro picked Dust2 (Virtus.pro 13:10 Astralis)
  • 5. Astralis removed Ancient
  • 6. Virtus.pro removed Vertigo
  • 7. Mirage was left over
