The GamerLegion team beat Monte 2-0 to advance to the semi-finals of the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. Kamil "siuhy" Shkaradek's roster will face Heroic, who defeated FaZe Clan the day before. In turn, the Ukrainian team Monte left the majors in 5th-8th place for $45,000.

The third quarterfinal of the majors saw Long compete on the Mirage card which proved to be Monte's choice. In doing so, Long Cogpegg stayed with the European team who managed to win a series of rounds for the defence. Still, Monte managed to level the gap to close out the first half with a minimal advantage, 8-7. However, after the change of sides, the Ukrainian team disappeared from the server, while GamerLegion players showed a confident attack and quickly took the lead in the series - 16:10.

The teams then moved to the Overpass map, which was the GamerLegion side's choice. Here, the Ukrainian team put up little resistance, showing a modest defence and allowing their opponent to score a 12-3 rout. After the change of the sides at The International Riga never returned to the server, as GamerLegion quickly took control of the game and brought it to a landslide victory - 16:3.
