Europe

In the European division two teams were singled out, who were fabulously out of luck. In Group A, sAw became such a team, for whom the struggle with top teams has become a new and interesting experience. In Group B, Virtus.pro was in last place. Both teams left the championship and will no longer be able to fight in the playoffs. They took 9-10th place in the standings and received $ 7,500 each. As for the playoffs, Team Vitality, Dignitas, mousesports and Astralis were able to reach the quarterfinals. Fnatic and ENCE made it to the semifinals, and NiP and MAD Lions purchased a ticket to the finals.

America

In the American region, the Chaos Esports Club and 100 Thieves took the last places in their quartets and, therefore, took 7-8 positions in the overall standings, receiving $ 7,500 each. MiBR, Cloud9, Triumph and Gen.G Esports went to the semifinals, while Evil Geniuses and FURIA Esports secured their way to the final.

The BLAST Premier Spring Series 2020 Showdown is part of a series of championships in the new BLAST Premier format. The Showdown prize pool in the two divisions is $ 750,000 ($ 500,000 in Europe and $ 250,000 in America). BLAST Premier Showdown will be held from June 1 to 15.
