Tournament operator ESL presented the names of the invited participants of IEM Dallas 2023. Despite the availability of eleven tickets, the organizers issued invites to ten teams, among which the regional team Evil Geniuses got a place.

First of all, ESL invited its partners to the event - Complexity Gaming, ENCE, FURIA, G2 Esports, Heroic and Team Liquid. As noted above, the regional invite went to the North American team Evil Geniuses. FaZe Clan, MOUZ and Outsiders were among the invited participants based on the ESL rating.

Interestingly, the organizers did not have time to announce the name of the last invited participant. Moreover, it is likely that such teams as Natus Vincere, Team Vitality and Ninjas in Pajamas, which are also partners of the ESL tournament operator, abandoned the championship. It is quite possible that the organizers will reveal the name of the last invited participant as soon as all the formalities are settled.

Interim composition of IEM Dallas 2023 participants:

  • Complexity Gaming, ENCE, FURIA, G2 Esports, Heroic, Team Liquid, Evil Geniuses, FaZe Clan, MOUZ and Outsiders.

The winners of the regional qualifiers for Europe (two slots), Oceania, North America and South America will also take part in IEM Dallas 2023. These qualifiers will take place at various times between March and April.

IEM Dallas 2023 will take place from May 29 to June 4 in Dallas at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. As part of the championship, sixteen teams from the CIS, Europe, North America, Latin America and Oceania will compete for a total prize pool of $250,000, rating points for the BLAST table, and a ticket to IEM Cologne 2023 for the winner.
