Tournament operator Elisa Esports has officially unveiled the first details of the Elisa Invitational Spring 2023, its next CS:GO championship, which will continue the winter season. The new tournament will take place from March to June and will offer the winner a ticket to the closed qualifiers of the as yet unannounced LAN event.

The championship will be divided into four stages. In the first stage, the teams will have to overcome open qualifications that will be played in Europe and Scandinavia. Qualifiers will begin on March 4 on the FACEIT platform. From here, four teams will make their way to the second stage of Elisa Invitational Spring 2023 (two from each regional qualifier).

The Contenders stage will take place from March 20 to April 20. Here, four teams from open qualifiers will play with twelve invited participants. The second stage of the championship will be held in the Swiss bracket format: the matches of the first and second rounds will be held in the BO1 format, all the remaining ones in the BO3 format. The top eight teams with three wins will advance to the next stage of the Elisa Invitational Spring 2023.

The Main Swiss stage will take place from April 24 to June 1. Here, eight teams from Contenders will meet with the other half of the invited participants. The format of the third stage will remain the same, with the only difference being that all matches will be held in the BO3 format.

The last part of the Elisa Invitational Spring 2023 will be the playoff stage, which will take place from June 6 to 10. Eight teams from Main Swiss will play with four invited participants (straight to the 1/4 finals of the competition) in a single elimination bracket. All playoff matches of the tournament will be held in BO3 format.
