The first six participants of BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Asia-Pacific RMR have been determined

Closed qualifiers in Oceania, China and Central Asia have ended, according to the results of which the teams IHC Esports, Eruption, Grayhound Gaming, VERTEX ESC, Rare Atom and TYLOO have qualified for BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Asia-Pacific RMR. Here the teams will compete for two tickets to the upcoming BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 together with two representatives from the Middle East. Note that this qualification will take place from 24 to 26 February online.

Closed qualification for the RMR tournament for Oceania

The winner of the qualifiers for Oceania was the Grayhound Gaming team, which during the qualifiers got victories over Killzone Gaming (16:10), Antic Esports (16:6) and Encore ESC (2:0). Through the lower bracket, the Australian team VERTEX ESC was selected for the RMR tournament, which, after losing to Encore ESC (7:16) in the semi-finals, managed to get together to beat e-LEMON-ators (2:0), Antic Esports (2:1) and Encore ESC (2:0).

Qualification results:

  • 1st place: Grayhound Gaming - Asia-Pacific RMR slot
  • 2nd place: VERTEX ESC - Asia-Pacific RMR slot
  • 3rd place: Encore Esports Club
  • 4th place: Antic Esports
  • 5th-6th place: e-LEMON-ators and Majestic Foghorns
  • 7th-8th place: Killzone Gaming and Dead Weight

Closed qualification for the RMR tournament for China

As expected, Rare Atom became the champion of the Chinese closed qualifier, which turned out to be stronger than TYLOO (16:11), TakeMeAway (16:7) and Lynn Vision (2:1) on their way. Through the lower bracket, the TYLOO team qualified for the RMR tournament, which, after the starting loss from Rare Atom (11:16), alternately coped with HSG (2:0), Wings Up Gaming (2:0), TakeMeAway (2:1) and Lynn Vision (2:0).

Qualification results:

  • 1st place: Rare Atom - Asia-Pacific RMR slot
  • 2nd place: TYLOO - Asia-Pacific RMR slot
  • 3rd place: Lynn Vision
  • 4th place: TakeMeAway Gaming
  • 5th-6th place: ParisDemons and Wings Up Gaming
  • 7th-8th place: Lord Rabbit Gaming and HSG

Closed qualifier for RMR-tournament for Central Asia

The best representative of their subregion was the IHC Esports team, which won over Kintsugi (16:8), Team VLADIVOSTOK (16:9) and Eruption (2:0). The second ticket to the RMR tournament went to the Mongolian team Eruption, which, having lost to IHC Esports (0:2) in the final of the upper bracket, managed to defeat Team NKT (2:0) and get the right to play in their native Ulaanbaatar.

Qualification results:

  • 1st place: IHC Esports - Asia-Pacific RMR slot
  • 2nd place: Eruption - slot on Asia-Pacific RMR
  • 3rd place: Team NKT
  • 4th place: Team Renewal
  • 5th-6th place: Team VLADIVOSTOK and Kintsugi
  • 7th-8th place: Clutch Gaming and ILIN

BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Asia-Pacific RMR will be held April 4-8 in Ulaanbaatar. As part of the qualifying championship, eight teams from Mongolia, China, Australia and the Middle East will fight for two tickets to the Contenders stage of the upcoming BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023.
